Choose Costa Rica, register the city you are leaving from
(Eg Alajuela or San Jose) as the starting point, and Ojochal as a destination or Uvita (15 minutes from Ojochal)
If you arrive in Uvita, please let us know, and we will be happy to pick you up.
RENTAL CAR

If you have a GPS in the car, program Diquis del Sur, the GPS will show you the route to follow.
If not, enter the following coordinates: 9.0780 -83.6427.

The Pacific Coast itinerary from San Jose (about a 3hr drive) is by far the best route. Here are the indications;
​
Leaving the airport, head north (Alajuela-Puntarenas) and continue on the main road for 11 km.
Exit at "La Garita, Atenas, Quepos." - Turn left towards "Quepos."
​
Drive about 3km on this road and then turn left towards Turrucares.
​
Continue for 3.5 km, pass under the motorway, turn left at Turrucares and take the Autopista towards Caldera.
​
Continue on the highway until the exit for Jaco.
​
Follow directions to Quepos (103 km) and Jaco (37 km).
​
Jaco - Parrita - Quepos. - Just before Quepos, turn left at
(Playa Dominical 43 km).
​
From Dominical, continue to Ojochal (34 km) on the main road
(You will pass in Uvita).
​
The entrance to Ojochal village will be on your left, pass the small bridge, then drive 300m following Diquis del Sur signs to the second road on the right (Calle Papagayo).
You will find the Diquis del Sur 1 km away, our entrance feature three blue butterflies.

PLANE
​
The fastest way to get to the Diquis del Sur is by plane.
Two airlines offer scheduled flights from San José to Quepos (about 55 minutes from the Diquis del Sur by car), or to Palmar Sur (30min from the hotel).
